How a user-friendly design helped us achieve success at The Plastics Industry Awards 2010.

What a great success we had at this years Plastics Industry Awards!

After entering into the Consumer Product Category with the Powerbreathe
product, we were announced as winners at the London Hilton on the 1st October.

We worked with HAB International on their ‘gym for your lungs’, which can be
used in both sports training and healthcare to develop the muscles that control your
breathing.

The design takes some very clever and complex technology and mechanical
requirements and presents them in a clean simple package. To appeal to a wide
range of users, it was essential that the design was as user-friendly and fool-proof to
assemble and use as possible.

It was fantastic to hear that the judges thought that “the design for manufacture was
very well considered with excellent attention to detail”.
